Society of Illustrators Visit.
My favorite exhibition from the trip was a drawing called the Yukie's Island My Family World War II Story by Kodo Kimura. This artwork was about an 8 year Yukie Kimura that narrates her upbringing during World War II in northern Japan, and she was living the life of a lighthouse keepers daughter. They went on that tiny Island. Photoshop and Oil on canvas was used to make this drawing and Illustration. The drawing creates resilience and imagination and human power. It was my favorite because it talks about family the witness everything of World War II. Experienced since the day of thein 1945 bombing and since that day Yukie (the mom) and Kodo decided to write a story of what happened. Seeing this exhibition somewhat inspires me to do Illustrators as a reason that you can witness of story picture it in your mind and write about it and draw it as an illustration and be famous.
