Picasso Painting



 

  
      This project was fairly easy, this was supposed to be a draft but I decided to make it a final. In the start of it I started with the face and the outline of the face. Then I made the nose. I took  a lot of time on the face and the clothing. The rest of the work was fairly easy as far as taking time and not rushing it. Some detail is missing and my challenge and error was some of the colors are on different layers for example, the black head and the gray color was on the same layer and I didnt have time to fix it. 





Jacqueline with Flowers, 1954 celebrates the entry of Picasso's new companion, Jacqueline Roque, into his painting.   Picasso met Jacqueline Roque in 1953 at the pottery when she was 27 years old and he was 72.  Antonina Valentin calls the figure a "modern sphinx", and it is true that in this crouching position, with her long neck and almond-shaped eyes, Jacqueline has something of the mythic figure about her. In her painting she has creative.  He saw in her the same classical, Mediterranean type of beauty that he had begun to paint in Gasol.

This project was fairly easy because I had to use the same grid but change it up to create different designs like proximity, similarity, closure, figure ground. The first one is closure because the left side is closing into the right side. This first design was fairly easy since it was just to move around and rotate the words. The second design is Continuity because it was just creating a type S. The S isn't a perfect one but it could match with the form of the text. The third design is Ground Figure because I changed the words and made it better. It works in such a way because if you fold it it will come together. The fourth design is Proximity because to me it looks like a toy but if you put it together it would look better. The Fifth design is Similarity because everything is the same and nothing changes from the text or grid.

Expressive Words

 Well this blogger had nice and simple words. For example, Sneeze was easy just that I need Brandon's help to make sneeze  go its separate ways. The word money was kind of hard as I had to use symbols to make it with the money sign. Therefore I replaced the O with "$".
