Picasso Painting

           This project was fairly easy, this was supposed to be a draft but I decided to make it a final. In the start of it I started with the face and the outline of the face. Then I made the nose. I took  a lot of time on the face and the clothing. The rest of the work was fairly easy as far as taking time and not rushing it. Some detail is missing and my challenge and error was some of the colors are on different layers for example, the black head and the gray color was on the same layer and I didnt have time to fix it.  Jacqueline with Flowers , 1954 celebrates the entry of Picasso's new companion, Jacqueline Roque, into his painting.     Picasso met Jacqueline Roque in 1953 at the pottery when she was 27 years old and he was 72.   Antonina Valentin calls the figure a "modern sphinx", and it is true that in this crouching position, with her long neck and almond-shaped eyes, Jacqueline has something of the mythic...

PORTRAIT WITH TYPE (2)

  To start off this assignment, it is pretty struggling to pick the right font that goes with the face of Dwayne Johnson.  Dwayne Douglas Johnson, also known by his ring name the Rock, is an American actor, film producer, and retired professional wrestler. I used a variety of letters. I used (,),I,9,1, o and zero. I wanted to work on it at home but my files were not in the USB that Mr.Hadel gave me. So today 12/18/23 I found my files and was able to do my work and somewhat continue to do my work to get it done today.

Society of Illustrators Visit.

 My favorite exhibition from the trip was a drawing called the Yukie's Island My Family World War II Story by Kodo Kimura. This artwork was about an 8 year Yukie Kimura that narrates her upbringing during World War II in northern Japan, and she was living the life of a lighthouse keepers daughter. They went on that tiny Island. Photoshop and Oil on canvas was used to make this drawing and Illustration. The drawing creates resilience and imagination and human power. It was my favorite because it talks about family the witness everything of World War II. Experienced since the day of thein 1945  bombing and since that day Yukie (the mom) and Kodo decided to write a story of  what happened. Seeing this exhibition somewhat inspires me to do Illustrators as a reason that you can witness of story picture it in your mind and write about it and draw it as an illustration and be famous.   Drawing from Society of Illustrators. self-portrait in color

  To this assignment I had to redo the work to make it better and then use the curve tool to make it stand out with the other assignment. It was easy this time since now I knew how to do it and made it better. After that I made my hair black and my forehand tan as how I am. My glasses are black as always. In Photoshop my lips came out crooked as you can say so I added a square to the right of it to insure that It doesn't look chopped.

   This project was hard to be honest. It took a balance amount of 4 days. The drawing was hard to go for every detail. I believe the only thing I put detail into was the glasses. Everything else shows black spaces and makes the artwork look out of texture. Its not the best and I know I can do better. The hair could had done better and I think it will need more practice to make it better. Most spaces are black. The hardest challenges of this was drawing every detail around it and for everything to look good and now it just looks crooked.
